Friend of Manlyweb John was playing around on Craigslist a few weeks back, when a listing popped up for a free boat.  The boat was in pretty rough shape, and since John doesn’t know much about boats, he did the only logical thing–he hopped in his truck and went to pick it up.

So, he’s got himself a 1982 Thudercraft for free–and as he says, he thinks he got ripped off.  Now that he’s cleared the trees that were starting to grow out, he’s ready to start the boat renovation–but there’s one catch to his plan:

Sharp Corporation introduced a 108-inch high definition LCD television on Sunday at the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas.  The company, expecting the model to be available mid-year, did not offer a price.

Several other companies showed off products as well:

LG introduced a 100-inch LCD, as well as a ‘Super Multi Blu’ DVD player that will support both Blu-ray and HD DVD, rivaling high definition DVD formats, initially at a cost of about $1200.
