Brian Butch, a junior forward for the Wisconsin Badgers, suffered a gruesome elbow injury while playing the Ohio State Buckeyes in a game on February 26, 2007 (less than 24 hours before the devastating Shaun Livingston knee injury).
The dislocated and fractured elbow kncoked Butch out for 4-6 weeks, and likely contributed to the Badgers missing out on the Big 10 title, and any chance they had at a National Championship.
